Sin got totally shafted, ranger is bad.

Dervish bar and especially the ele bar look very nice, have to see the other bars yet.

Wait, WHAT, your team changes every round???? What is the point of this? I don't want random naabs every game! I finally found a decent team and now I am back with the 'warriors with an axe that have a CB sword bar' again.....

I so looked forward to CB, but this is just plain fail.

Well, the sin skillbar is pretty much shit compared to last year's.
No kd, shadowstep, condition removal, elite pulled from men's asses.
Also, Ranger- Inc Arrows, Kindle Arrows? Really?

All the bars are terrible, which means they might be balanced vs. each other. I like the opportunity to play something that isn't meta builds now.

I really don't understand the idea of making it all random. I never have experienced a huge problem with syncing...but hey, whiners always get what they want.

I like the change. Now i'm not obligated to stick around on skill streaks.

Points are wrong, you get 10 not 15.

I think you still get the consecutive points too if my maths is right

I actually liked going on a winning streak with the same team. We almost intuitively start to develop tactics together...But the costumes are great..

Basically there is no such thing as consecutives now. I think that's a GREAT solution to the syncing problem, and it evens out the rewards better between casuals and teh hardcores. It might be applicable to RA if the gladiator track gets changed (yet again.)
unless they were able to keep track of individual's wins, ra would just turn into red resigns.

I agree, noted elsewhere this could be a problem. Maybe a compromise like you need 2 or 3 consecs for a glad point. But you still get random teams every round.

NO. NO. NO. They ruined Christmas!!!! Well technically Halloween, but you get my point.

Completely random teams???? Probably with syncers?? lolwut?

You lose once to a good team, you never see them again. They go on for 100 wins because they are good at the game. Why punish that????

Its a miracle to get more than 3 in a row. People at guildwars are BAD. Thats like rule number one when you're playing any matchmade game with random teammate. (Assume all teammates are bad). Throw in support/defense heavy builds, with two melee train builds (war and sin), and the gameplay becomes just as stagnant as normal pvp.

Its not fun any more. You're now literaly GRINDING the gamer title. Thanks for letting me play with bad kids all day long, and not having any chance to play with the few people that are good.

EDIT - I seriously think we should all go Necro in CB, and just make it a bspike grindfest. Just to show how much Anet messed up.

GTFO Anet. Your making this game worse.

Why not?
No additional points for consecs, so no 'losing streaks'. More chaotic randomness, more fun.

I LOVE the idea of different costumes. It's so simple and clever at the same time, my mind nearly exploded. Seriously though, i hope to see more costumes on rotation in the following days - not that it's something that hard to code on the fly and since it's probably the last GW1 Halloween before GW2 comes out... GIVE US ALL YOU HAVE.

I also like the new map. The addition itself is always a nice thing, but it's a very good map for quick matches, much smaller than the remaining ones, much more dynamic. Thumbs up!

As for the builds... Necro got pretty much thrashed comparing to what we had the year before, unless there are two-three of them in a spike. That's bad, especially that the previous build wasn't that OP yet versatile. Sins got pretty much thrashed comparing to what they had the year before. And that's great, since they were seriously OP. Though now warrior is the new sin...
Monk build sucks, rit build is well balanced and decent enough for the brawl. Mesmer got improved since 2009, but i'd prefer something along the 2008/2007 lines. Nevertheless, it's quite enjoyable - that Echo there gives you a very wide window of opportunities depending on the teams' composition.

All in all, a very good update, though i still hope for more.

Warrior, Dervish, ele and Rit seem best.
Necro, Mesmer, sin second
Monk, para, ranger are bad.^^

Oh, and please revert randomizing teams asap, it is quite bad.

For a holiday "mini game" randomizing is a great idea, also yeah, the new map looks really nice.
